Dry Chemical Powder

Merupakan kombinasi dari fosfat Mono-amonium dan ammonium sulphate. Yang berfungsi mengganggu reaksi kimia yang terjadi pada zona pembakaran, sehingga api padam. Dry Chemical powder juga memiliki titik lebur yang rendah dan pada partikel yang sangat kering serta membengkak untuk membentuk penghalang yang hingga oksigen tidak dapat masuk sehingga dapat menutupi area kebakaran (api), akhirnya api tidak akan menyala dikarenakan pijakannya ditutupi oleh Dry Chemical powder.

Foam AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) adalah berbasis air dan sering mengandung surfaktan berbasis hidrokarbon seperti sulfat sodium alkyl, fluoro surfactant seperti: fluorotelomers, asam perfluorooctanoic (PFOA), asam perfluorooctanesulfonic (PFOS).
